SANTA CLAUS THE MOVIE 1985
SANTA CLAUS THE MOVIE 1985
A large and loving middle-aged man and his wife become trapped in a snowdrift on their reindeer sled. Near death, they are saved by elves and taken to an invisible factory at the North Pole. The elves want the man to become the new Santa Claus and make gifts to give to children the world over. He accepts the position. He comes to learn how time is dilated so that Christmas Eve lasts all year round and he can deliver all the presents, using reindeer that are fed with a magical grain to make them fly. Things go well until the elf Patch, unhappy at the failure of his attempts to introduce an automated toy production line, decides to head out into the world. There Patch’s naivete is set upon by the ruthless toy manufacturer B.Z. who plans to exploit Patch’s unstable anti-gravity candy.
I    this movie.
This is a true xmas movie!!!
To add some decoration to boring cabinet tops I used garland and hot glued matching tree ornaments to it. I also I used pinks for the kitchen and golds for the living area. Each matched the tree they are closest to.
On this tree I did it a bit more formal, using a thinner tree gave it a trendy look. All of the ornaments and trinkets came from Hobby Lobby. I used ribbon to make the bow topper and as garland around tree.
I wanted to have two trees last year. One for the little kids and one a bit more formal. So I did the white tree for the grandchildren using pinks, gold and light greens. I also used their Hallmark ornaments and other special ones they have collected.
I'm off to my parents soon for the hoidays and won't be back until the 4th of January.
I wish all of you a happy holiday season and the BEST for the new year.
I'll be back with more Paris fashion and language-barrier moments soon, so don't panic lol!

Not too good at hiding the cord.Ok here's our tree. This is our first year in this house and it's kind of cramped, but it was fun to decorate and take pictures.
We've been together for 10 years, married for 4 and this is our first real tree ever!
My favorite ornaments. :D
